INTERFACE PROPERTIES ACQUIRES WILD PINES, A 200-UNIT VALUE-ADD & AFFORDABLE COMMUNITY IN DOWNTOWN NAPLES, FL
Naples, Florida – August 22, 2025 – Interface Properties, a real estate acquisition, development and management firm, has acquired Wild Pines of Naples, a 200-unit apartment community in Naples, Florida, which includes 104 income-restricted affordable units. The Boca Raton-based firm, led by Zac Goodman and Ken Goodman, purchased the community on August 15 for an undisclosed price from JSB Capital Group.
Franklin Street’s Darron Kattan and Avery Jordan brokered the sale. Berkadia’s Mitch Sinberg, Scott Wadler, and Michael Basinski secured the debt through Freddie Mac, which included the assumption of a $20.62 million senior loan and a $6 million supplemental.
“This acquisition builds on our strengths in LIHTC, affordable housing, and re-development, and expands our in-house management footprint,” said Zac Goodman, Partner at Interface Properties. “With 10.5 acres along Davis Boulevard in the path of growth, Wild Pines also presents an exciting opportunity for a creative future in downtown Naples.”
“This is a strategic acquisition in a rapidly growing location that will benefit tremendously from Interface Properties’ focus on property improvements and hands-on management expertise,” added Basinski.
Originally constructed in phases between 1968 and 2001, the property is composed of two-story, garden-style apartments that combine both market-rate and affordable LIHTC units. Community amenities include a clubhouse, swimming pool, laundry facilities, fitness center, and business center.
Planned improvements by the new ownership group include upgrades to the laundry and fitness areas, amenity enhancements, refreshed landscaping, the addition of a dog park, and other property improvements.
