Barry joined Office Depot in 1988 as Vice President of Development and guided the retail growth from 10 stores to over 600 retail stores in eight years.
In 1997 Barry formed Synergy Retail Group, a real estate and market research consulting business and was the exclusive national real estate consultant for Gateway Computers. Synergy spearheaded the initial real estate roll out of Gateway Country Stores, in addition to developing the concept’s five year, 400 store national strategic plan.
Barry was the exclusive consultant for Muvico Theaters and is currently working with the original founder of Muvico Theaters on a national rollout of Ipic Entertainment, a revolutionary entertainment concept.
Barry also represents the following clients in Florida: Fidelity Investments, City Furniture, Ashley Furniture, Fogo De Chao Restaurant, Washington Mutual Bank and Holo-Dek Gaming Arena (nationally).
